Overview
As a Project Engineer- you will be responsible for executing the project lifecycle from design to mass product launch in a professional, timely, and compliant manner. You will be competent in resolving project challenges, concerns, and ensure project deliverables are met. Additionally, you will be responsible to lead, coach, and guide junior members of the team to meet overall project success. The ideal Project Engineer will be dynamic, results-orientated, and competent with engineering/design mechanism with good project management disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • To monitor and administer the project lifecycle from project design, mass product launch including but not limited to planning, control of schedule, verification of tooling design, providing real-time feedback, material selection, costing verification, product testing, approving pilot runs, verify and monitor ECR, and any other critical project standards/process etc
  • Maintain project development schedule through consistent monitoring of project progress, coordinating activities, and providing real time updates and work on resolutions with the supporting team
  • Ability to forecast and provide cost-effective and efficient solutions to product design problems
  • Ensuring all follow-ups, responses or assigned project tasks are delivered or escalated within a 48 hours time frame
  • Diligent review of design, specification, plan and schedule through either escalation to Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager to recommend and implement changes or Corrective Action Plans
  • Demonstrating in-depth expertise during customer liaison on design feasibility or production process flow
  • Prepare and manage project cost and budgeting flow with internal departments
  • Address project performance through conducting test verification and gathering approvals to proceed with the product production flow. More importantly, to ensure customer standard and quality is achieved
  • Providing daily status updates in the project tracker and related documents
  • Tracking all changes and modifications made in 3D and tooling designs; ensuring data are regularly updated on the server
  • Ensure accurate compilation of the project related documentation pack by the Assistant Project Engineers through coaching and leading by example
  • To foster an amicable factory relationship of which encourage sharing during design phase; allowing mutual consensus on project designs and timelines to ensure smooth project completion
  • To provide professional advisory services to both customers and factories
  • Participate in factory evaluation activity to ensure compatibility in areas of and not limited to factory capacity, equipment, software, engineer skills etc; and provide Marketing team with the data to determine factory suitabilities for product development
  • To actively participate in weekly meetings to enhance team’s productivity through information sharing and brainstorming on project challenges, best practices etc
  • To continuously keep abreast of industry trends, engineering technology and knowledge
  • Ad hoc involvement in tasks or projects assigned by Senior Project Engineer/Engineering Manager to enhance engineering capacity, workflow process or improvements


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Min 2-4 years of project engineering experience within household (i.e. kitchenware) or consumer product industry is preferred
  • Prior experience in product development with overseas customers will be advantageous
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese; Written English and Chinese is a must
  • Proficiency in design and visualisations software, Autocad, Pro E and MS office skills
  • Good understanding and adaptability to varying project challenges and deliverables

Overview
As a Marketing Executive- based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for engaging in the sales & marketing lifecycle, through various marketing-driven activities to execute King Flair’s business strategy in optimising growth and sustainability.

You will be required to lead a junior staff and collectively work towards successful operational activities with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this person must be able penetrate and strengthen customer and factory relationship, through their knowledge of product lifecycle, customer strategy and industry trends.

The ideal Marketing Executive will have a good balance of operation and tactical expertise with prior experience in factory and manufacturing plant management. Possess a strong sense of urgency, prioritisation and organisational skills. Acute business and risk acumen of both the macro and mirco environment, couple with the willingness to grow and contribute to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage and monitor marketing coordination, logistics and operations (i.e. order processing) within the division
  • To coach and guide the Marketing Coordinators and Assistant Marketing Executives on their daily work schedule and deliverables. Ensuring their tasks is completed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • To analyse and conduct due diligence in operational reviews and status, including but not limited to factory audit report, lab test protocol, tooling agreements, QC reports template for new product orders, shipment report , factory agreements (2 years renewal), air freight requesting and other official documentations which requires management sign off or approvals.
  • To be able to influence, negotiate and communicate appropriately with both external (i.e. Customers, factories etc.) and internal stakeholders (i.e. factory audit team, QC, engineers, logistics team etc.), when it comes to reviewing and driving corrective action plans, production development/ schedule, shipment delays, and timelines etc
  • To drive the initial cost analysis and breakdown for discussion and approval from Management, prior to negotiating production schedule, tooling schedule and costing with suppliers. Ensuring all quotation are approved prior to submission to customers
  • Proactively monitor and follow-up on production signed samples (with team leader’s approval), print proof arrangement and other operational procedurals (i.e. BOM, 2D drawings with tolerances, tooling drawing, pilot run, QAP etc.)
  • To drive and administer the customer-interaction model by ensuring a turnaround of no later than 48 hours; this also applies to supplier interaction and their operational requests, inclusive but not limited to, technical support from engineers, data retrieval to complete the order/production etc
  • Collaborative and pro-active interaction with supporting teams to address customers or supplier’s operational requests, adhering to a 48 hours window period for problem resolution and proper escalation to seniors for assistance
  • Report generation in the form of weekly marketing agenda, quotation project summary, customer correction plan report , debit note report, late shipment explanation report and any others as requested by the seniors in the division,
  • Lead the junior marketing team in the bi-weekly PC/QC meetings, supporting team meetings, any others as required
  • Ad hoc involvement in tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors in areas, inclusive but not limited to, new customer acquisitions, operational process enhancement (engaging external resources), widening manufacturing network etc.


Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma holder in the discipline of Business (minor in Marketing or Merchandising would be preferred) or Engineering
  • Min 4-6 years of relevant experience in a Sales & Marketing or Merchandising function within the household and/or kitchenware appliance industry
  • Verse and exposed to market penetration and development of OEM products
  • Prior experience in factory and manufacturing plant management is highly preferred
  • Exposure to overseas and/or Mainland China vendors liaison will be advantageous
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese; Written English and Chinese is a must

Key Responsibilities
  • To execute and monitor the full product design lifecycle of ongoing projects or new requests from the Marketing team; with 70% of focus on creative design and 30% on operational tasks
